Puppy Raiser
12–18 monthsRaise one of our future service dogs from 8 weeks to about 18 months. Provide socialization, basic training, and a loving home while we do the specialized training.

Transport Volunteer
As neededDrive dogs to and from veterinary appointments, training sessions, and evaluation events within the Lakeland, FL area.
Best for: Local volunteers with reliable transportation
Community Ambassador
2–4 hrs/monthRepresent Valiant Heart Companions at community events, fundraisers, and speaking engagements. Share our mission with potential donors, applicants, and partners.
Best for: Outgoing communicators, public speakers
Pro Bono Professional
Project-basedOffer your professional skills — legal, accounting, marketing, photography, web development, graphic design — to help us operate more effectively.

Grant Writer
5–10 hrs/monthResearch and write grant applications to foundations and government programs to expand our funding base and serve more survivors.

Photographer / Videographer
As neededCapture photos and video of our dogs, training sessions, and community events to support our website, social media, and fundraising materials.
